About Charm City LUG
Who We Are
Charm City LUG is made up of over 50 AFOL (Adult Fans of LEGO®) members from Baltimore, Maryland and its surrounding area. We are spread across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and professions, but all share the same love of LEGO. Some of our members have over 30 years of building experience with LEGO, while others have newly discovered the hobby. Similarly some members enjoy the collecting aspect of the hobby or building official sets, while others focus their energy on building original creations, commonly referred to a MOC (My Own Creation). All of these interests are welcome, and encouraged. Our diversity is our strength and contributes to the wealth of knowledge and experiences that we share among our membership. We welcome all LEGO enthusiasts, from all backgrounds, to participate in our events and activities. Similarly we invite those within community who are 18 and older to consider joining us as a formal member of the LUG.
What We Do
Charm City LUG holds monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:00pm onwards. These meetings usually wrap up around 8:00pm.
During these meetings, we hold themed build challenges, discuss recent set reviews and LEGO news, and hold presentations from members highlighting interesting build techniques and projects they are working on. In addition, we use these meetings to discuss and plan for upcoming public events and shows all around the region and nation in which the LUG is represented by member builders showing off their work.
Outside of monthly meetings, members meet for sorting parties, collaborative build projects, public and private build events, and general socialization.

Charm City LUG Officers
The management of the affairs of Charm City LUG are vested in the officers of the organization. Officers may often delegate assignments to members but are ultimately responsible for all tasks performed by the LUG. Charm City LUG officers are 100% volunteers and are not compensated for any services performed on behalf of or to benefit the LUG. These officers are elected annually, in the month of November, by the active membership.
